Asus has officially started selling its latest Asus Pad tablet in the Indian market. The device was first unveiled during Computex 2026, and it is now available in India in two storage variants. The tablet features a 12.2-inch 2.8K OLED display, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, and packs a 9,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

The Asus Pad is available for purchase through Flipkart, the Asus eShop, ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and the company’s authorised retail outlets.

Asus Pad Features and Specifications
The tablet runs on Android 16 out of the box. It sports a 12.2-inch 2.8K OLED display with a resolution of 1,840 × 2,800 pixels. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 92% screen-to-body ratio, offering an immersive viewing experience.
According to Asus, the display delivers 600 nits of typical brightness and can reach 2,000 nits of peak brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM). It also supports the Asus Pen 2.0 and newer stylus models.
Processor and Cameras
The Asus Pad is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
For photography and video calling, the tablet comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity and Battery
In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
For an enhanced multimedia experience, the tablet is equipped with four speakers that support Dolby Atmos 360-degree cinematic audio.
Powering the device is a 9,000mAh lithium-polymer battery with 45W fast charging support. According to Asus, the battery can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes, allowing users to get back to work or entertainment with minimal downtime.
