A new leak surrounding the Motorola Edge 70 Neo has surfaced ahead of its expected launch. The leaked renders offer a glimpse at the smartphone’s design and suggest that it could be available in four different colour options. The most notable detail is the 200-megapixel branding visible on the rear camera module, hinting that the phone could feature a 200MP primary camera.

The smartphone has also reportedly appeared in Motorola’s Android 17 testing programme in India, suggesting that the company may be preparing for its launch. However, Motorola has not officially confirmed the Edge 70 Neo, nor has it revealed its specifications, pricing or launch date.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo Could Feature a 200MP Camera

According to a report by The Mac Observer, leaked renders of the Motorola Edge 70 Neo reveal its possible design and colour variants. The phone is shown with a flat display, slim bezels and a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

At the back, the smartphone appears to feature a raised, square-shaped camera module housing three lenses. The module also carries 200MP branding, suggesting that the primary camera could use a 200-megapixel sensor. Motorola’s signature batwing logo is positioned near the centre of the rear panel.

The leaked images show the Edge 70 Neo in four different finishes: dark green, light blue, olive green and pale pink. The rear panels also appear to feature slightly different textures across the variants, with the pink version sporting a more distinctive pattern.

Motorola has yet to reveal the official names of these colour options. However, the company has previously worked with Pantone for its smartphone colour finishes, so the final variants could receive dedicated Pantone-inspired names.

Could the Motorola Edge 70 Neo Launch in India?

The Motorola Edge 70 Neo name had reportedly surfaced earlier in the company’s Android 17 beta testing programme in India. Its appearance in the testing programme suggests that Motorola is actively developing the smartphone and could be preparing it for a future launch.

Some earlier reports have also linked the Edge 70 Neo to the Motorola Edge 2026, which was launched in North America in June. However, the 200MP camera branding visible in the latest renders suggests that the Edge 70 Neo could feature different camera hardware compared to the Edge 2026.

For now, the leaked information has not been officially confirmed. It is therefore too early to say whether the design and specifications shown in the renders will make it to the final retail model.

Another Addition to the Motorola Edge 70 Series

If launched, the Edge 70 Neo would become another member of Motorola’s expanding Edge 70 lineup. The company launched the standard Edge 70 in India in December 2025, followed by the Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 70 Fusion+ in March 2026.

The lineup was expanded further with the Edge 70 Pro in April, followed by the Edge 70 Pro+ in June and the Edge 70 Max in July.

However, the Edge 70 Fusion+ was not launched in India. With the Edge 70 Neo now appearing in leaked renders and reportedly undergoing Android 17 testing, Motorola could be preparing to expand its Edge 70 portfolio even further.

For now, Motorola has not announced the Edge 70 Neo’s launch date, price or specifications. More details are likely to emerge through additional leaks or official announcements as the smartphone moves closer to its expected debut.
