OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch its next-generation Ace 7 series. After introducing the OnePlus Ace 6 last year and the Ace 6 Ultra earlier this year, the company is now believed to be working on its upcoming flagship lineup. Although OnePlus has yet to make an official announcement, a fresh leak has revealed several key specifications of the upcoming smartphones, which are currently said to be in the engineering sample stage.

Expected Features of the OnePlus Ace 7 Series

According to renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Ace 7 series may include two new models powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processors. One variant is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (SM8850) chipset, while the other could arrive with a customized version of the same processor carrying the model number SM8850Q.

The leak further suggests that both smartphones could sport a 6.78-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and an impressive 185Hz refresh rate, promising an ultra-smooth experience for gaming, video playback, and everyday use.

Massive 9,000mAh Battery with Ultra-Fast Charging

Battery life could be one of the biggest highlights of the upcoming lineup. Reports indicate that both devices may pack a 9,000mAh battery, supported by 100W or 120W fast charging. This combination is expected to deliver extended battery life while allowing users to recharge the device in a relatively short time.

Active Cooling System for Enhanced Gaming

In terms of design, the OnePlus Ace 7 series is expected to feature a minimalist aesthetic. The smartphones may also include an active cooling fan, helping to maintain optimal temperatures during prolonged gaming sessions and demanding performance tasks.

OnePlus Ace 7 Pro Could Get a 50MP Periscope Camera

The leak also claims that the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro may feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera based on Samsung’s JN5 sensor, offering 3.5x optical zoom. However, the tipster notes that the camera setup is not yet finalized and could change before the phones are officially launched.

Official Confirmation Still Awaited

Although the leak does not explicitly mention the device names, the leaked specifications closely align with previous reports about the OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro. Therefore, these details should be treated as unofficial until OnePlus makes an official announcement.

For reference, the OnePlus Ace 6, launched in October 2025, came with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 7,800mAh battery, and a 165Hz refresh rate display. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, introduced in April 2026, featured the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, an 8,600mAh battery, and the same 165Hz display. If the latest leak proves accurate, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 series could deliver a significant upgrade with more powerful hardware, a larger battery, and an even smoother user experience.
