Vivo is preparing to launch its new Vivo Y31T 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The company has already listed the device on its official Indian online store, confirming its upcoming India launch. However, Vivo has not yet revealed the exact launch date or pricing details.
The online listing has revealed most of the phone’s key specifications. The Vivo Y31T 5G will feature a 6.75-inch LCD display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a large 7,200mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the software front, the smartphone will run OriginOS 6, based on Android 16.
Vivo Y31T 5G Colour and Storage Options
The Vivo Y31T 5G will be available to Indian customers through the company’s official online store. The smartphone will be offered in three colour options:
- Crimson Red
- Golden Mist
- Seashore
In terms of RAM and storage, buyers will reportedly get three configurations:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 6GB RAM + 256GB storage
Vivo has not yet announced the pricing for these variants. The official launch date is also yet to be confirmed.
Vivo Y31T 5G Display and Processor
The Vivo Y31T 5G will come with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display offering a resolution of 720 × 1,608 pixels. The screen will support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1,250 nits.
The display will also support an 83 percent NTSC colour gamut, which should provide a better visual experience for everyday use and content consumption.
For performance, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The 4nm octa-core processor features six efficiency cores clocked at up to 1.95GHz and two performance cores with speeds of up to 2.2GHz.
The phone will offer up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Vivo Y31T 5G Camera Specifications
For photography, the Vivo Y31T 5G will feature a dual-camera setup on the rear panel.
The camera system will include a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It will be paired with a 2-megapixel Bokeh sensor featuring an f/2.4 aperture.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will feature an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.05 aperture.
Large 7,200mAh Battery
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y31T 5G is its 7,200mAh battery. The large battery capacity should allow users to get extended usage between charges.
The phone will support 44W wired fast charging, which should help reduce the time required to charge the large battery.
Connectivity and Sensors
In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y31T 5G will support 5G and 4G LTE, along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. The device will also feature a USB Type-C port.
For navigation and positioning, the phone will support GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS.
The sensor lineup will include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor and gyroscope. For security, the smartphone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo Y31T 5G will measure 166.64 × 78.43 × 8.39mm and weigh approximately 219 grams.
With its large 6.75-inch display and 7,200mAh battery, the smartphone could appeal to users who prioritise a bigger screen and long battery life.

The listing on Vivo’s Indian website confirms that the Vivo Y31T 5G is headed to the Indian market. The company has already revealed most of the major details, including the display, chipset, camera setup, battery, RAM, storage, colour options and connectivity features.
However, Vivo has yet to officially announce the Vivo Y31T 5G India price and launch date. The company is expected to reveal these important details closer to the smartphone’s official launch.
